Ken….. are you on…..a mac? Windows latest Red ver is 3.04.xxxxx

Sorry but you’re right, the file may not work (cross platform).

Anyway, as I wrote above, on the text 3d track select the textures tab and put an X in the faces you want gradients on. Now twirl down to the texture track and click on the track media icon and from the drop down select ‘gradient’ as the texture track media and adjust as neccessary.

    good luck…

What editing ap? Boris plugs into a lot of different apps directly. Other options are depending on your NLE.

I think not. It will kill the alpha channel for your title. I may be wrong though because this applies to Liquid and not Xpress.

Add the sides to your text and then twirl open the text track. You’ll see faces below that. Click on the faces and then select “gradient” for the media type and then go to work on making your gradient. You have the option to animate the gradient on the face if you wish as well under the same parameter dialog.

You can dissect this red file to see how to do it.

    good luck…

There was another user who ordered from Pinnacle and had the same issue. The problem is that Liquid is under Avid, not Pinnacle. Contact Avid about it. It has been shipping for 2 weeks now.

Looks like your in the wrong forum.

You can buy many flavors of Liquid6: software only, Moviebox Deluxe, ProBox, broadcast, chromeHD. What these all equate to is the hardware that is used with the software only version. What will you be editing?

just for grins, what does the key look like when you use the FCP plugin and key directly within FCP? Do you get the same results?

My first thought on this is to contact Boris support. They may be able to duplicate your issue. 15 hours of render is a long time and I’ve not seen this TC issue.

    anyone else?
