What do you mean by volume name or path? I’m having this same problem which started happening after using the raytrace 3D renderer. Everything was working perfectly before working with 3D extruded text.

Andrew Kramer uses expression controls to drive his text pieces in z space. I’m hoping to find the technique that uses my image’s value range as a map to drive the z space push. I used to have a VHS tape of Brian Moffet explaining this technique in version 5 but don’t have it anymore. : (

No tute’s on card dance here so I’ll keep digging the QA archive. Wish there was a freeze time control for the clock : )
