IM NOT SURE IF THIS WILL FIX IT BUT I HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM A FEW TIMES. I REMEMBER SAVING THE FILE AS A DIFFERENT NAME, AND CHANGING THE CODEC FROM AVID MERIDIEN TO ANIMATION. FOR SOME REASON THE AVID MERIDIEN WAS CAUSING A PROBLEM. ANOTHER PROBLEM MIGHT BE THAT YOUR COMP SETTINGS DO NOT MATCH UP WITH YOUR CODE SETTINGS, FOR EXAMPLE I THINK THAT AVID CODEC WANTS A 720X486 SETTING, AND IF YOU TRY TO RENDER WITH AVID MERIDIEN CODEC WITHOUT IT BEING THAT WAY IT WILL ERROR.

I FIGURED IT OUT. GO TO EDIT>RENDER SETTINGS> CHOOSE THE TEMPLATE AND CLICK THE DELETE BUTTON ON THE SCREEN

i figured it out. I hit ctrl and M, then drag around the edit point and it zooms in there.

whats the difference in file export or make movie? i have not idea the difference.

do you know any good values for the parameters. when i change them it seems to make my text edges really jagged. nothing seems to be smooth except a value of 5 on each.

thanks for the tip. i think the post house is going to give me the specs. i just didnt know what to export it out as. i look through the list of export codings and just dont know. i guess i should ask the post house what to export it out as?

my boss just asked me if it is possible. and if so, how are you going to do it.
i am making graphics for a campagin, and they are going to take my graphics and their hd film and send them to another post house to do the online edit and overlay my graphics. so i need to know what to set my COMPS up as and what to EXPORT my finished projects as. anyone know?
