    Hi Adam,

That did the trick for me. Thanks very much for sharing!

Exact same thing happening here. Also mid 2012 Mac Pro. Also happening with some XDCAM HD footage in Premiere Pro CC, while eveything’s fine in Premiere CS6. Hope this can be resolved soon.

  • Hi,

The XDCam Transfer software doesn’t work either on Snow Leopard. Tried it with the U1 and the PDW-530 camera. System gets very sluggish and can’t read the metadata/proxies from the XDCam discs and isn’t able to write to the cache-file. On the U1 all the XD Cam discs are suddenly named ‘test’ on the Mac desktop. Under Leopard everything is fine. Contacted Sony Netherlands about this. They seem to be some kind aware of this. Hopefully Sony will fix this with an software/driver update soon!

    Hi,

Big issue here with the Color update. Not only Pal sd clips are broken in Color (empty clips with a red cross in the Color timeline, but also with XD Cam HD 50i and 25P. DVC Pro HD 50i and 25P work fine. There is a workaround for Pal SD clips. If you put them in an HD Sequence in FCP and send them to Color 1.03, they read fine in the Color timeline. Doesn’t work with the XDCam HD clips though. Is this a Color 1.03 problem or a FCP 6.05 (xml) issue?

    Quite annoying…
