    Hihi..

what a rock concert that’ll start at 10am!!!….;-)

well the workaround we came up with was:
duplicate the QT file on the HD.
delete the timecode tracks of the copies and import the videos to FCP
drag the start TC of the original file (pressing “alt”) onto the 00:00:00:00 of the copies

and voila – i fooled FCP!!

    not elegant though – i must confess…

    thanx for the help!!!!
    kind regards

    Thanx,

but is it possible without soundkeys??

i can get the video to speed up and get back to normal speed,
    but not to “scroll” forward..
(values from audiokeyframes layer are 0-20, so speed goes
from 100 to 120 and then back to 100)

    kind regards

    Thanx for the info…

    hmm, makes me think though:

i searched for fxfactory and found their site where it states to be nodebased…
well – can it be that Apple works on the new FCP with an integrated Shake??
I mean, Shake price dropped heavily, “nodebased” FXplug…

    hmmm……

maybe i should wait and get me a new system in a year or so
after all….. and save every cent to get there ;-(

    thanx for the help!

    kind regards

October 3, 2006 at 1:29 pm in reply to: Best font manager? (For use with PS & AE..)

    well,

i would go for “Linotype Fontexplorer”!!
it automatically activates fonts if necessary and is much
easier to use as f.e. suitcase (and much more stable)

It’s freeware and for me the best thing around.

    kind regards

April 20, 2006 at 7:16 pm in reply to: getting an xpress dv timeline to AE..

    well,

    it’s not a simple edit…
every scene will consist of min. 3 layers!
so a working solution is needed.

but if i’m correct avid aaf-import works with AE7, right???

    thanx
