    Hi again.
Sorry for not responding earlier. I’ve been on a businesstrip.

I turned off the SB-sound and tested with the MB-sound, but unfortunately no difference.

I’m a little curious why your first choice was to check the audiocard. Personally I would guess it’s a videocodec-conflict.

And again, I don’t understand why those DV-clips work fine outside Premiere in players like VLC etc.

latest driver: SBXF_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0008 (updating the original driver to this one made no difference though)

Ok. So the only compressing being done is when you actually shoot something with the camera, and NOT when recording or capturing via firewire, right?

Are there DV-cameras that shoot uncompressed then? Because I read somwhere that uncompressed DV uses about 840mb a minute, and my avi’s are slightly over 200mb a minute.

So if I want to make my material broadcast-safe; what program should I use? Is the filter found in Premiere Pro a good one?

Magic Bullet’s broadcast safe, maybe? The manual only speaks of making broadcast safe for NTSC though.
    PAL here.

No, I’m referring to the downloadable presets for Cinelook at DigiEffects (https://www.digieffects.com). However, I found out they only work with AE. A bit stupid I must say, because the filters themselves are compatible with Premiere Pro.

Are there any other good filters out there that make video look like film?
