Dear Steve,

I clicked the link below your signature (FB). There I found the short film: “One of our creative designs for an Intro…”

Could you throw me on the right track, as to how to make the cool effect of bars that appear and grow??
I have no idea where to start on the bar-part.
(I guess there is some parent child with the stars moving inside the bars, but I am merely interested in the solid-colored bars).

That is very impressive work – thank you for the display, and yes, that will most certainly help me in my “quest”. Cool to see what Vegas can actually accomplish. (I’m a little intimidated also…).

The problem is – like you both state – to crack the first cube. In other words. Where to start.

However, I was also considering the more general “Drawing-a-bar” that starts from a point somewhere – and then grows in a random not perfect horizontal or perfect vertical direction.
E.g. +x, -y, -z.

Forexample
If you have made a skewed text that you made by 3D track motion that jumps in from the side.
2 seconds later you want a bar to start appearing below the left-most letter in your text, and grow towards the final letter in your text.

Thanks a lot Steve, for a fast answer & the excellent and very interesting link! I might invest in this plug-in, however, my academic background pushes me on to try and understand how smooth circular motion can be achieved in Vegas Pro.

Short of using A LOT of keyframes and calculating different points on the circumference of a circle I cannot see how one can accomplish it in Vegas Pro with using plug-ins. Is this correct?

Or is there somewhere in the program that allows for typing a basic equation for a circle – and allowing easy access to changing the different parameters?
