I’m having the exact same problem on my Mac with AE6 and Flash6. Am about to try the same solution. It’s extremely frustrating (would have though this is something Adobe would have picked up and sorted out). Also I seem to be having similar issues with RED files in AE6, will try the same approach.

I use them to – All the time. I’m often working in 3d environments with about 1000+ layers.

This sucks soooooooooooo much.

I bet they only asked motion graphics artists who are simply moving text around a frame.
