    Thanks for the response Noah-
    Are you saying I shouldn’t be getting letterbox in the Final Cut once I capture? It just confuses me because when I watch the footage in the camera it is letterboxed. Are my capture/sequence settings correct with DV NTSC 48 kHz Anamorphic (I shot DV) or should they be something else? Was squeeze a good choice over the letterbox?

    So I shouldn’t expect it to have the black letterbox in Final Cut only in the proper monitor. What capture/sequence settings should I use in Final Cut? Was it a mistake to shoot in squeeze?
