    For anyone who finds this in Google, after various tests I discovered that using a .png sequence for the video texture fixes the problem. Happy hunting!

    Just had the client re-clarify… she’s using ‘iDVD.’ Problem still stands, though. Apparently it doesn’t work.

    What I did to solve this was the following – laid down the AMA in a new sequence. Video mixdown. Exported the mix down into a quick time reference file. Reimported. Changed timecode and tape on the new file to match the old master clip.

    Basically tricked Avid into doing it for it. Thanks for all the help anyways dudes.

    Every other program I have works great – including other Adobe programs I’ve run across two screens, like After FX. But, no, I haven’t ttried reseating anything yet. I guess I’ll give that a try.

    Yeah, luckily my display settings set themselves to the correct set. I just double checked, and everything is how it should be.

    Which file types (avi, .mov, etc) have the DV codec available?
