I thank you for your response, but no that didn’t work. Maybe I should have mentioned I’m using AE 6.5, don’t know if that makes a difference or not, but this button you spoke of, I went through all the info from the link you sent and I see where the button should be but is NOT in my version of AE. Anyone else?

The date and time clock were turned off to not show date and time on film. As far as the timecode generator is concerned its set at factory defaults for the last 4 years.
I thought I once saw a command in Vegas, that stated if you wanted to capture your film in one large clip or seperate indivdual clips, for the life of me, I can’t find that command or option if it exists.
