When I scale a comp up or down even by as little as 1% I lose quality, slightly blurry, not as sharp, etc. How to avoid this?

Thank you very much in advance!!!

Are you scaling a pre-comp or footage? If you’re scaling a pre-comp try enabling the ‘Collapse Transformations’ switch on the pre-comped layer.

Here’s info on where that switch is if you have trouble:

I thank you for your response, but no that didn’t work. Maybe I should have mentioned I’m using AE 6.5, don’t know if that makes a difference or not, but this button you spoke of, I went through all the info from the link you sent and I see where the button should be but is NOT in my version of AE. Anyone else?

    Thanks all!
