No, sorry. Once you add it to the sequence, it adopts the sequence frame rate, so every other frame will be dropped, and it’ll be 30fps. There is no NLE out there that allows multiple frame rates in the sequence. All adopt the frame rate of the project, or the sequence.

Not sure how you can convert 60 to 30 without losing any frames. MIGHT be a way to convert 60p to 59.94i (29.97 interlaced)…so that all the individual frames are now fields. Would bear testing in Compressor to see if that can be done.

Ooooooooh. OK, so you don’t mind if the 60fps is slow motion…got it. You’ll need to duplicate the media, and then use CINEMA TOOLS to “conform” the frame rate to 29.97fps. Then import the clip into FCP. I say duplicate it, because what Cinema Tools does is destructive, meaning it alters the clip permantently, and it cannot be reversed.

Sorry, if it’s not in that list, it can’t be added to the effect. You can add TEXT (option in the bottom of the effects editor of that effect)…but that would mean manually adding that.
That information is too rarely needed to be considered, I guess.

You most likely have the option chosen where the AAF references external files, and makes them. You should choose the option to EMBED the audio in the AAF, with handles (1-2 seconds)

Since it isn’t a menu option, nor in the Keyboard Command list, I’m going to venture to say no, it’s not possible to map this action.

SO you aren’t having the audio mixed by a separate audio professional? Doing this yourself? I typically have the audio professional do the mix and provide the stems that I then put on the timeline in the proper order. If you don’t have a mixer, then you’ll need to make them yourself. This is one reason that I keep specific track assignments, so only INTV is on certain tracks, SOT on others, SFX on others, MUS on others, and then VO. This way, I can simply turn off tracks and export stems that are only MUS, or only VO, or MUS and SFX. Then reimport the separate stems

Sorry, no. I have a mouse that allows me to scroll side to side, but no, there’s no hand tool to grab and move with the mouse. Slider bar at the bottom, but that’s it.

You’ll need an IO box (BlackMagic Intensity Pro or similar) to then send a signal out to a calibrated HDTV. Web specs and TV specs are different. OR, as mentioned, you can see if you can set your monitor to Rec 709. But I rely on IO devices and external TVs/Broadcast monitors for proper TV color.

Don’t use the latest 2019…go to an earlier one. In the download center are the stand alone installers.
