[Kevin Camp] “here’s a fairly simple recipe… create a new solid and add these effects to it:
    fractal noise
    colorama
    cc star burst

This thread is super old, but I needed to find a 5-min solution and your approach helped a lot.

    Thanks!

It may be a late -very late- answer but, if you make your background alpha inverted matte and put your about-to-get-inner-shadow object right above it, you can put the whole comp inside a new comp and apply drop shadow, bevel alpha or whatever you are using to create a normal shadow.

Yeah, that worked. A year ago 🙂

Yes, of course you can run FC on a PC with a MacOSX emulator. In fact, you can do much more things with a PC, but hey, there are Mac fans who won’t tell you these stuff in here.
You can buy a decent PC half the price of a regular second hand Mac, which can run a Mac emulator and FC. I know many people using this technique, wait a sec, just do a google search.
Just sold my Mac, I only miss FCP, nothing else. So lets emulate it 🙂

Well, i have reached the same site just half an hour ago, couldn’t find though 🙂 There is a huge chance that it may be Quicktime’s problem.
