Thanks for the replies Dave & Martin. I was worried that the original would be so bad that I couldnt do anything but ill try the level adjustments. I did actually fiddle about with those settings but just found it greyed the video and lost the dynamic colour ranges. Will give it another go however:)

One of the 3 files was indeed a m2v file, with the other 2 being the mpeg and a wave file. Is it not possible to get these 3 files working properly on a DVD without adobe encore? Do i simply just need to create a folder, drop them in and drag it into my blank dvd? Thats kind of what i did through nero anyway but without putting them in the folder first, should the m2v be above the other 2 files or something?

I have 1.0 so can choose the Burn to DVD from APP but i had hoped to make a simple dvd interface in another software, so i decided just to render it through the media coder in the assumption i could just simply burn over the out putted files.

Ill look into Encore however so thanks for the tip!
