I think solved the problem…If you are in auto-ripple you must move the event with the right click in the mouse, then it gives you the option to shuffle, move or copy the event.

How do you switch from auto ripple to post ripple?

I just found the answer in another post that I made. The event was out of sync. But how come I didn’t see the red numbers?

I’m producing a low budget, short documentary and before I start the interviews, with the camera rolling, I ask their name and tell them that this is for a documentary etc. etc.and I plan to keep the raw footege for as long as needed. Hopefuly this will be enough.

If you want to render and output a HDV file, do you render the avi files in the timeline and will it automaticaly grab the m2t files for the render? What if you color corrected and added visual effects?
Will these be added to the m2t files when you render?
I’m just looking ahead for when the time comes to switch to HDV.
