Hi – I’m still using Vegas 12 – any more tips on what’s causing it? Did it lose the script folder somehow?

Thanks John. That seems to help but not entirely.

Would you recommend any of forced resampling, flicker reduction or ‘Adjust source media to project settings’

And do I need a de-interlacing method or not?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

THis is what I thought would happen – and is what I can do with the arrow and the right hand button click; but if I use the deletion tool every time I click it selects the whole line…

Working a treat. I’ve also tried just adding the difference in the X dimension at start point to .position and that works.

Now I see I’ve created a problem. My pusher man stretches back before then moving forward and the wheel is tied to him so also flies backwards. Not a good look!

I can’t find any material on how to only introduce the linked expression after a point in time (or a keyframe)…I’m guessing unless there’s a keyframe option, it’s an if clause of some kind…aaarrgghh…the things you do to learn this stuff!

    Tks!!!

    That’s great…

Do I need to change this for relative position?

Are there any good resources for me to read about expressions – and would using a pickwhip do anything like this?

    Tks!

Thanks Trevor – I was kind of going that way. Few more qs if that’s OK.

    1. Can you suggest any 3D software or effects packages that could do this type of thing really easily?
    2. Failing that any tips on what to do with highlights/shadows to achieve a paint-like look
    3. Any idea of effects that can create a dripping/seeping effect in the direction of the background?
    4. Any idea how to combine cc mercury or something else and a bezier mask to start with bubbles, but then to physically move the collection of bubbles across the composition and gradually combine them?
    5. Thanks!!
