Vegas Pro 12 Scripts Not Working
Hi,
Have Vegas Pro 12 on Windows 10 x64. None of my scripts show up in Tools…scripting – even though they are there.
If I try to run them – Vegas freezes for a while, runs them successfully – but then it still doesn’t list them in the menu.
Have uninstalled vegas and the .NET frameworks available in Win10 – 3.5 and 4. It did prompt to reinstall and I let it. Obviously rescanned scripting folder.
Any suggestions how to get them in the menu?

If you are using the new Magix Vegas Pro 14, they are not going to work.
Scripting and extensions all have to be re-written to work in the new Magix ownership of Vegas.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

For text scripts (those written in Jscript or C#), the fix is very simple. Using a text editor (e.g. notepad) simply replace “Sony” with “ScriptPortal”. Then copy into your V14 script menu folder and they should work. Script extensions (.dll’s) are another kettle of fish.

Hi – I’m still using Vegas 12 – any more tips on what’s causing it? Did it lose the script folder somehow?
