I’m having problems with Compressor today as well. I suspect because I accepted some updates before leaving last night. They seemed harmless. They always do! Anyway, I can open Compressor but when I select a file to encode it bogs down and eventually I have to force quit.
OK, just in case anyone has been following my lonesome thread. I figured out my problem. When I copied the folders I renamed the contents folders to 123&4 so they could live in the same folder. Once I pulled them out and renamed them “contents” they worked.
I isolated one of the folders that it wasn’t recognizing and I got a error message: invalid directory structure. Is there anything I can do to fix the structure. It appears to look exactly the same as the others.
That stinks. i was assured that the 1080psf was a true progressive. I am trying to edit it into my 720p footage and the conversion looks bad (tearing interlacing lines!)
What method would you use to get the cleanest picture into a 720p sequence?
I’m going through the same thing. I am about to rent a deck to capture the 1080 30p footage I have on HDcam tapes to edit into the DVCPRO HD 720p footage I have.
