Yer, this is where it is weird, it is like it is getting to a point where it simply is overwhelmed (the GPU), I noticed in other threads that heat can be an issue, I am restoring my system today back to before I changed the driver, and I have cleaned out my case, it turned out I had a bad case fan.

I see your point Mark, but when the GPU for Preview is disabled in Options, the files render out, go figure?

I can’t get Titler 1.0 or 2.0 to work, and it all started when Titler 2.0 touched my system, Titler 1.0 worked. I never used it, just experimented with it, it was buggy and unstable – but it did work, now it prevents Vegas from even starting, NBFX are not very helpful so far.

Ohh, I should point out that I had a schitzo set of drivers installed, (I run an HD Radeon 6770) and NBFX reported I had an older version lurking under the newer catalyst so I cleaned it all off and installed 12.10 – no difference, except now all my window positioning is forgotten and I hate that!

I could not even get SVP12 to start without a complete crash on loading the plug-in factory, and lo-and-behold, it seemed to break SVP11 on me as well, and even more, it broke the Titler 1.0 I had also, so I uninstalled both, never used Titler 1.0 as it went.

Was asked by NBFX support to remove GFX drivers and replace, have done that, and I will report, but not looking promising.

  • Actually, now a longer project is not finishing the render in the above settings, got to 98% and while the file seemed to be working, it is incomplete.

I hope this is fixed in SVP12.

    John,

I racked my brain, and checked all my software, I got a boiler plate response from Sony’s support arm in Australia, he was not sure either, I checked all my activations, they all seemed fine, but some needed updating, since I moved, but overall I was at a completel loss, MOST ESPECIALLY since the earlier ghosts eliminated software conflicts etc.

Then it occured to me, I have a Bluetooth Dongle, that only last night I removed, (which I never do) to insert a client’s external drive, I had it out on the restore of each ghost too, so I thought, would it be possible it is a hardware enumeration process that is missing this hardware?, and lo and behold, it worked, the applications run when that is reinserted!

Wow, my mind is blown, just like Terry Crews here:

Good for future reference anyway, and know that all other apps, EVEN the 32 bit versions of 10 and 11 worked, without this in.
