New-Blue Titler and SVP 12
Posted by Mark Krueger on November 5, 2012 at 8:07 pmAnybody else having trouble with using the New-Blue Titler software and SVP12? SVP crashes upon putting a New-Blue Title on the time line. It does this almost every time. Just wondering if there were any solutions out there… Thanks Mark

November 5, 2012 at 8:58 pmAre you talking about the New Blue titler 1 or 2?
If it is version 1, did you update to version 120815?Theo

November 5, 2012 at 8:59 pmI could not even get SVP12 to start without a complete crash on loading the plug-in factory, and lo-and-behold, it seemed to break SVP11 on me as well, and even more, it broke the Titler 1.0 I had also, so I uninstalled both, never used Titler 1.0 as it went.
Was asked by NBFX support to remove GFX drivers and replace, have done that, and I will report, but not looking promising.

November 5, 2012 at 9:11 pmTry this it worked for me… Uninstall new blue tilter pro 1 and or 2.
Turn off the computer and restart. Now before you do anything reinstall
newblue tiler 1 and 2. This seems to fix the crashes for me.. It appears that if you start vegas and shut it down there is still some part of vegas active and will give you a bad install of newblue titler. -

November 6, 2012 at 4:32 amI can’t get Titler 1.0 or 2.0 to work, and it all started when Titler 2.0 touched my system, Titler 1.0 worked. I never used it, just experimented with it, it was buggy and unstable – but it did work, now it prevents Vegas from even starting, NBFX are not very helpful so far.

December 1, 2012 at 6:05 pmHi,
It sooOOOooooooOOooo bothers me that SVP has no problems running on my laptop, no problems with my video card (however cheap it might be)……BUT Blue Fx Titler can’t seem to work without a SPECIAL video card.
I got it for free with a SVP upgrade, and like they say, you get what you pay for

I have now used NewBlue Titler Pro with SVP 12 on my last few projects without a single crash from NewBlue. In the past it would be hit or miss dragging the media generator to the timeline. So if you had problems in the past, this may help you resolve them.
