I don’t know much about computers but it’s the Mac OS Extended on my computer.

I am not new to Final Cut Pro. I’ve been using it for 2 years on the same machine and it hasn’t given me any problems until now. I captured using a firewire cable going to a mini dv video deck. I am not a computer whiz but I know how to edit so sometimes it is hard for me to answers your guys’s questions but I do my best.

I’ve tried capturing in the middle and in the beginning of the tape and i got the same message both times.

it might help that I’m capturing from a mini-dv tape on a mini dv deck with a firewire cable

I can’t use NTSC. It doesn’t work. I get dropped frames. Mpeg-4 is the only one that drops frames.
