How then would i put my keyed out object into a 3D room then?? If i
rotated around the object enough to see the side wall?? I understand
the only way would be to make the background plate 3d.

You are correct. I parented it and it just didn’t do anything.
My desire was to make it look like the actor was in the virtual space
he was in. Camera Tracker gave me that effect when it added
the camera movement. If it had worked,, the background would have
just rotated round the fulcrum of the actor which would have been
    weird.

    Thanks

  • i contacted cineform about it. it is an error. they said
they’re engineer was working on a fix. that was 2 months ago.
    still no update. sorry

    Hello Walter

I want to move to a 64 bit application and was anticipating an excellent FCP X application. I feel like i finally have a grasp on FCP.

Does anybody have any inside info on what apple is doing? Are you really moving that fast to dump FCP for something else.? Do you have inside info that would suggest we all move along? I can wait a little while for FCPX if i knew they were addressing concerns promptly? Being how cloak and dagger they were about releasing FCP X and lacking any kind of dates for that release i am certainly concerned. If i am going to learn a new interface I need to learn it before my busy season in the fall.

I am really not looking forward to learning a new interface!!
