[Steve Connor] “Love the new CC options, just having Keyframes is nice as well!

Agreed. Interesting, however that if I am using the Color Wheels layout and add a shape mask, I cannot see that shape masker or manipulate it if I switch to curves. I would have thought you can manipulate a mask from any of the (curves/wheels/board 1) corrections. I do like the addition of the Show in Color Inspector option in the Inspector. Or has that been there all the time?

Running HS and all seems good in the testing phase….

[Neil Goodman] “I want! But I just got a maxed out IMac last year and it still over exceeds my needs currently and for the foreseeable future. I’ll probaly end up waiting for the second or third refresh. Thing is sexy tho”

I did the same thing. But I do want it….

They should give you free chiropractor sessions from hunching over that damn thing to work. Saw one at Adobe Max last year and my back ached looking at it.

[Neil Goodman] ” think you’re debating with yourself. Did anyone bring this up besides you? These are two different machine’s – one has a touch screen, one does not. How are they comparable at all?”

    Bingo.

Nothing to see here, folks. Move along…

November 26, 2017 at 2:04 pm in reply to: Adobe watching your every move… (sort of)

[Nick Meyers] “turns out Adobe, among other web-sites, uses mouse and keystroke tracking software to record your activity.”

…added to that fact is that my daughter over the holiday weekend noticed suspicious activity on her credit card. Turns out it was a recurring bill from Adobe Stock! Bank refunded everything but no one can figure out how it got on there.

Maybe a new way to increase revenue?

[greg janza] “I would highly doubt that Adobe cares what you want.”

Never said they do. That’s why companies I do work for pay the monthly, not me.

[Gabriel Spaulding] “I rent Adobe software every month and despite my subscription including at least 24 different apps (shown in the Creative Cloud app) I only ever use 4 of them —and none of them are Premiere Pro. So while I do pay to use Adobe software for paid work am I being counted as a tick in the Premiere Pro box? “

My thoughts exactly (although I do use premiere when it’s the only option). Plus, I don’t want my monthly being used to develop the 20-odd software in the rest of the CC package that I don’t use. Selfish, yes, but I could care less about the majority of CC for my money.

[Douglas K. Dempsey] “Interested to know, other than set design (e.g. subject-to-background distance) and lighting, how shallow depth achieved throughout.”

I know on the 7, you can tap and hold an area for focus and exposure lock, so I would bet that’s part of it.
