No, the projects in question don’t contain any embedded files, which is why I’m confused. I’ll try the lightning bolt and see if that helps. Usually, when I remove all files manually, that does the trick but every now and then it seems some crumbs fall into some cracks somewhere and Vegas forms an opinion about them. 🙂

Hi Steve, thanks for stepping in. I’m not sure what you mean by embedded (at least not in terms of a Vegas project file). What separates an embedded file from a regular project file?

What’s REALLY weird is that I didn’t even have Vegas 11 64-bit installed because I use a bunch of Red Giant plugs that only run in 32-bit, so I have no idea how I ever had those RAM options set to begin with (and I didn’t even think about the 32-bit factor. Duh).
