    Chris,
What do you mean the EX-3 will have a quick format switch? I hadn’t heard about this. Will it be a part of the direct menu or a mechanical switch or what??

The tripod comes with the tripod plate.. Not the camera. Any tripod will have a plate with it. You just use the 1/4″ screw that is supplied with said plate

Your best bet would be to shoot with the EX in HDV (25 Mb/s). I have had clients shoot in 24P that said it matched well so I’m sure the 60i would work ok too

    Gary,
Lectorsonics makes the best wireless products out there. They are a little more expensive but totally worth it. I am sure they have a configuration for exactly what you need.

    Steve,
Are you trying to get SD SDI out? If so, select SD on the YPbPr/SDI out selection and make sure the YPbPr/SDI out display is on.

If you are trying to get analog component or composite out, ser YPbPr/SDI to off and make sure video out display is on.

Is there a dub-house nearby? You could take the files to a dub house and have them convert it to digibeta (about $125/hr).

If that is not an option and these guys still insist on digibeta, you might just have to up your rate to be able to afford the deck rental.

While it may be tempting, DO NOT buy from a place like this. The money you save is not worth the hassle you will deal with in the long run. Always buy from an authorized dealer.

This is an issue with either tape path alignment or like Grinner said, the pinch. Where are you located?
