Hi John,

I gave the BCC Unit a try, and it also wasn’t the yellow of the egg.
When I pushed the Sharpener and Noise reduction to the limits,
Where I started to see an improvement in the image, then it looked very artificial and unreal,
Which is for historical archive footage of a museum exhibition of course unacceptable.

In the end we will keep it as is.
It’s not so terrible at all,
I just hoped there was a way to enhance it.

Hi to all,

I went in the end with copy pasting the “Drop Shadow” Effect on all clips, since its appearance is closer to the AVID drop shadow, and
it was important to match it to films in the exhibition, that come from MC as well.

Hi Jeff,

That’s a good idea. I just would have to make three groups of subs, since, some are one, two or three liners.
Then it’s no problem. Will give it a try.
Otherwise, it’s the Drop Shadow Effect way.

Actually, there is.
We are in a huge project for quiet a while now.
I work on a HacMac, that needs first a system upgrade from 10.8.
Something I’d rather not do on a HacMac during a project.
Like the English say, never change a winning team. …. specially not during a game.
And on that OS, 10.0.9 is the max.
