Check out DPIT Nature Spirit (commercial). It�s the very best solution for realistic smoke animation. Inside a cube shape is the easiest thing it can do. Check out the plugin here: http://www.dpit2.de
For a still image you could use it of course too, but maybe an image map is faster and easier here.

hmm, I don´t know but I would simply ask Arndt if it is. Maybe it also has english subtitles, that would work I think, but I really don´t know.

there is a DVD for COFFEE & XPresso by Arndt v.K. which has received very good feedback by customers (and usually everything by Arndt is top-notch), however I�m afraid it�s german only. :-/

Hi,
in old versions the SDK was already compiled and the example sdk plugins could be used in c4d. I think the sdk distributions now are not compiled yet. So you would need to load the sdk into XCode (free apple compiler) and compile it first.

Make sure you give all the objects a Motionblur tag if you want to use object motion blur (or vector motion blur).
For Scene Motion blur you only need to activate it in the render settings. no tags necessary.
