    My recommendation is the traditional 750gig HD as your primary drive because, although the trade off is boot speed, you do want some general storage space once you have apps installed.

    I’d then suggest the 128 or 256 SSD dedicated for CS applications temp/scratch folders, especially AE’s global cache.

    hi angelo, thanks for the reply.

    i think the m4600 can only be configured so that if you have a 2nd drive, you can ONLY have the mSATA 128 SSD as your primary… thats all they offer. So that only allows for the OS & CS6 on the SSD i believe.

    Does it work to have the mSATA 128SSD as the OS & CS6 drive, then another 128SSD as the scratch disk, and then using the external usb 3.0 hhd as storage for media?

    or how about the mSATA 128SSD for OS & CS6, then just having the 750gb hhd for storage and scratch disk?

    what do you feel is most important to have the ssd dedicated for… the scratch disk?
