The specs are correct. The client is the biggest name in streaming movies and tv. I don’t think I can achieve them with an .mxf either. I may not have mentioned this needs to be a transport stream.
So let’s say these specs were rigid – what would you do?

Sorry John, a little frazzled with this one. I’m usually better about communicating on this board. Here’s the error:
“An error occurred while creating the file. The reason for the error could not be determined”
I think you answered my question though. If the encoder maxes out at 60, there’s no way I can meet these specs in Vegas. However, any additional input would be, as always, appreciated. Perhaps I can use frameserver to export the project to another encoder? Can you recommend one?

I found settings that result in gSpot saying the clip is all I Frames. Set I Frames to 1 and B Frames to zero. Under Advanced Video – make sure only I Frames is checked on all 3 rows.
However, I am now having trouble rendering an .mpg2 at 1920×1080 80Mbps. Any clip longer than 10 seconds gives me an error message. Can anyone begin to help troubleshoot this issue?

Thank you for the information. Another mpeg2 encoder is a possibility. I could still use vegas for my edits and utilize the no-compression render. Can you recommend another mpeg2 encoder?

Does the “First Play” option cause that brief pause that all DVDs do when switching from one menu page to the next? The cool thing about this method is that it seamlessly transitions from intro animation to menu, yet you still get the effect of skipping the animation after returning to the menu from your movie(s).
