Thanks for your reply. Is there a functional difference the 200 A and the 205 A?

    If so, what is it?

We do need to be able to monitor HD. Do you think going with the Matrox would allow for professional quality color correction?

Besides the MacPro and the HD Cinema display, what would I need to purchase that doesn’t come with the MXO to make everything connect and work right? Component cables? Might sound like a silly question but my video engineering experience is pretty thin.

    Thanks Boris.

As Kevin mentioned you can copy and paste attributes (including filters) to numerous clips. And you can often do them all at the same time by highlighting them all. You may already know this, but if you need any step by step instructions, just say so and I’d be happy to provide more details.

I have heard of this issue with flip4mac, but unfortunately I don’t remember the solution. I would first export a Quicktime movie, then put that on a sequence and try exporting that as a wmv. Perhaps you should look into some flip4mac forums or something like that, because I’ve heard of that problem and I know people found a solution…

I would definitely clear out anything that was placing an excessive
strain on your RAM… Try unmounting and remounting your drives
though. Also, it’s more of the percentage that’s being taken up in
your memory, rather than a simple question of having “enough” GB’s
free. I believe you want to leave at least 20% space free on all of
your drives. Could be more though…

One thing you could try to do is to go through the Disk Utility, and unmount all of your drives, including any internal ones. Actually, specifically any internal ones.

This has helped me a lot in the past with the same issue. That’s assuming of course that you actually have enough memory. If you really are low on memory than it’s a question of making space by deleting whatever you can. If you have projects that you don’t want to delete but don’t need all the unused media, use the Media Manager option.

    Good luck.

OK, I’ll remember that. What about making an internet version? I’m choosing the H.264 300 kbps option and it’s taking several hours to export. That doesn’t seem right. Any ideas why?
