I mean, I did used to use AE as an editing software (splitting layers and stuff)

Compliment each other? So what exactly do you mean by “editing” software.. because I see a lot of similarities between the two. And what’s the thing Premiere can do that is closest to After Effects?

So by editing, you mean cutting your clips into pieces and putting them together, + adding sound, + transition effects, etc?

But I heard that you can still do some effects in Premiere. I just want to know what is it that makes things better in Premiere,, the interface? The speed??

So the only difference is synchronizing audio with video?? That’s it??? Doesnt After Effects do a good job too?
