there is a software called r-studio which will recover all the data from raid-0 (hardware /software both), raid -5 or any other… i accidently deleted my software raid-0 but i got everything back in just few minutes. try it. even it is bad or formated it recovers data successfully.. only thing you’ll have to give is correct order of you hdd and nos. if you do not know you’ll have to spen a little time maipulating the combinations..

    good luck

    hi Arnie,

in this jvc 700 camera it records in .mov, and they claim that its fcp competible mov files that true but i also thought the same the way you thought. may be the file is mov but the encoder they is mpeg4.

so if i upgrade to color 1.5 do you have any idea if it will work or not.

    thanks

  • Hi

I am having the 8core system with 4GB RAM. this runs very best… recently we did something which you are trying to do… we made a server and had 3 nodes of i-MAC.. that did for us..

this gives freedom to edit on any node and the footage remains on one system..

ask your hardware manager to so something like that..

and if you are planing to do on single system go for 8 core with 4 gb of ram

you can may be try intensity from black magic for low cost capture and edit card

    all the best

  • I’ve gone through the post!

some nice solutions! i use Black Magic multibridge to upscale any footage, sometimes i use MPEG Streamclip to do this for me! its a free solution and give reasonable upscaling for FREE thing! you must try it..
