    Hi,
I have a FCP project with master clips in the .DV format. They were used in several sequences as sub-clips. I now know that I can’t use the Smoothcam filter on .DV files and need to replace them with .MOV files. I’ve finished converting the new master clips but I’m wondering now if anyone knows of a clever way to replace all these .DV subclips in the sequences with .MOV subclips? So my project would be visually identical (just swapping the formats). Thanks for any tips
    Tim

    I’m using FCP 6

try media manager, there are options to convert the media to a compeible project

right click on the master clip and see options for media manager

Have you tried reconnecting to the new clips?
