Oh okay, I thought people actually thought the sharper, the better. So why are primes more popular then, if a softer look is preferred?

Okay thanks, but are you saying that since they weren’t designed for video, do you mean that the softer look they give is more acceptable in stills than video, is that what you are saying?

Okay thanks. For the future is there a good 300mm lens that can match the primes? There are ones that go over a thousand dollars but are their any that can match that are under a 1000?

It seems that twixtor does that with frame interpolation. It’s weird because a Television that you buy can have frame interpolation without weird artifacts, but twixtor is just not as good as creating frame interpolation as a TV it seems, unless I am wrong.

Another idea is to use twixter cause twixter can add frame interpolation and perhaps will give you the missing frames back. Not sure if this will work as I have not tried it for this, but it seems like it may theoretically, but I wouldn’t try this unless nothing else works.

I will see if I can recommend to the producer/writer to go a different direction than the found footage, which he already had scripted.
This is my first time attempting this kind of project, since I have done fiction mostly before, and didn’t know that it was normal for documentaries to go out and get additional footage during the editing.
However, the music composer is already working on the music so should I perhaps tell him to put it on hold if I need more footage?
The thing that worries is that I am worried my camera, will not match the DP’s camera. With found footage, it is okay to not have a match cause it’s found footage, but I’m worried whatever camera I use, will not match, look and color wise. Could this be a problem?
It is also winter where I live now, which will not match the outdoor whether of the footage that we already have. So would a sudden seasonal change be too jarring to the audience?
As for the title, yes I can put some more titles in the opening such as “so and so presents”, etc. Then have the title come after that, if that’s better?

It doesn’t make much noise in the video though, but maybe the guy’s voice just covers it up?

I’m not really in charge of what goes on with the track but I can ask them. Normally it’s not suppose to be lubricated though. But even if they could lubricate it, the motor is the thing that is making the noise, so wouldn’t a motor still make noise if a track is lubricated or not? Kind of like a car engine will still make noise even if the car is lifted off the ground sort of thing?
But I can ask. When you say inside or out mic, do you mean indoors or outdoors? I have a shotgun and a hypercardioid if that helps. So far I am using the hyper indoors but I assume the hyper would pick it up a little more even, cause of wall reflections.
