    Hello Guys,
I’m having this same issues with my HPX250. I just purchased the Adapter AJ-P2AD1G and my Lexar 2000x 300MB/s SD card. I get the same error and unable to format. I’ve checked and I do have the most recent firmware update = 17.46-00-0.00.

Thanks in advance for any info/help.

    Dustin,
I don’t know if your still following this thread but I’m curious if you figured this out. I all the sudden am having the same issue. However it’s been working fine up until recently, so I’m thinking its my cables breaking down.

    Thanks

December 20, 2010 at 7:43 pm in reply to: Questions to ask before purchasing an Array

    Bob and others,
Yes I know CalDigit, Sonney and G-Tech make great products and I understand that I will be spending $4000 or more on my solution. My challenge is to find what I feel is the best for my needs and workflow. Of course each of the arrays do basically the same thing but some do certain thing better, faster, etc. Yes they all rebuild but why can’t I find how fast they build and the performance loss while rebuilding? It’s important for me to know if an enclosure or raid card fails, am I able to remove drives in the bad enclosure and populate a new enclosure or switch out raid card without disturbing media?

I’m pretty knowledgeable about what I want in a camera and why, but RAID storage is new to me. With some of your experience I was curious if there are certain things some of you would be looking into if you were about to purchase?

    Thanks again

May 19, 2010 at 10:14 pm in reply to: HVX Scene Files

    Michael,
Thanks for your reply. In reading Pany’s web it states:

“For the 200A and 500 cameras, each of the looks supplied by Panasonic starts with a file that has a default frame rate in position one. The other five files are identical, except for a change in frame rate. They are:
    DEFAULT
    24 fps
    12 fps
    18 fps
    48 fps
    60 fps”

To me this sounds like each scene file has 6 different setting for fps. And in looking at each scene file within each file they are labeled the same as above.

Also you said 720p only. That does not seem to make sense. I know that scene files can change a lot about the way a camera looks and performs but I did not think they would only work in 720.

Though this might take sometime I think I will go in and change the frame rate for some of these and see what happens. I’ll try different flavors 480, 720, 1080.

    Thanks again
    Royce

July 14, 2007 at 3:22 am in reply to: New computer, New FCP Studio 2, new problem

This is definitely something new within FCStudio2. I imported the clips on my older G5 that was running FCP 5.0.4 and everything imported perfectly. I then upgraded that computer and tried to import again and now have the same result.

I see a couple people are experiencing the same issues in a thread posted on July3rd. No one ever resolved the issue. One person mention Remove Duplicate Frames button because of the DVCPROHD codec. (my footage is shot in 720-30 not 24fps.) I tried that and it did not seem to help.

    Thanx

Yes I did organize. I am able to see the thumbnails and play in the Log and Transfer. My other computers have FCP 5.0.4 and I am able to import the footage fine.

Use MPEG 1. It will work with any computer. Yes the quality is not the best but it always works.

    Sincerely
