Am I also correct to assume that if I’ll be using phantom power, I won’t need to put any batteries in the battery compartment?

OK. For the Audio-Technica AT803B, I notice that it has a power supply.

If I’m using phantom, do I still need that power supply? How does that work? I thought the cable would simply run straight from the mic into the DR-40 with an XLR cable.

But I’m still confused as to why you’d want to set it up as 4K. It seems that this footage more closely matches 2K, and not 4K. Is it because it’s anamorphic?

In the future, how can I tell if footage is anamorphic? Simply by it’s resolution?
