I would buy it now just to take advantage of the switch offer of 50% off. That is what I did and am slowly changing over from FCP7 as time allows. If you wait for version 6 you will be paying full price.

Yes, it works with the Youtube preset and if I export the sequence then import it into Compressor my normal preset works too. But when I send it straight from the timeline it fails. Not sure what to think. It has happened before but the compressor repair tool usually fixed it. Not this time.

I have always deleted clips in the camera. Also, I reformat the card fairly often as I have had errors too. I still have the first firmware version though so that might be my problem.

As stated above they are .mov files from an EX-3 and I get the same result using the browser or the import function. Just the audio comes into PP. It shows an audio icon only in the project but shows a .mov file.
