  • I was having the same problem… the menu button would activate the timeline… play it through, and then at the end play it again. Essentially, when you previewed the DVD’s operation, you had to hit the “end action” twice to get the timeline to end and go back to the previous menu (as instructed in the properties of the timeline).

Solution for me: I had put “overides” in the properties of the buttons… I clicked and deleted these and the timeline playing twice ended and the end action went back to the previous menu (as instructed).

    Hope this helps.

Greg… Saw this and downloaded QXD and the MXF Importer. I ran both, rebooted… to import QT HD files (shot on a Firestore) into PP3. Nothing changed. Am I missing something?

Well… I’ve gotten back to trying to solve this thing… I’ve gone through Project Manager and made sure all files were in the new location. I’ve deleted the preferences file, but still get the “fatal error” crash and burn.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Steven. Appreciate the advice.

  • Thanks, Mark… glad it wasn’t just me. Seems to be a bug.

Thanks, Josh. I’m getting the Mac to do the “read only” part… Files are big, so I probably should go with the MacDisk. I’ll give it a try.

    Thanks again!
