John,

Do you use the 680 and the 7950 with a cubix or can they both live together in a MacPro?

I am looking to replace my old 120/285 combo and trying to see what are the best performance/cost at the moment.

Looking at slot requirement, I am not sure it leave space for BM card and any storage card.
Is my best bet is the 680 for GPU and 4000 (single slot) for GUI ?

I have noticed issues when not using a crossover cable when connected directly to the Mac. it is also recommended to use port 1.

Are you using the crossover cable that was provided with the panel?

You have 9 soft keys plus right/left shift keys (27) plus F1 and F2 banks for each soft key.

Plus the tabs/room knobs.

if your panel not lighting with the resolve fanctions you might need to reinstall the eucontrol application.
you got about 60 mapped keys with the Mc Color and resolve and can actually remap the 1st layer of the (9) soft keys only.

you can search the cow for a label templet I created for the MC color.

Free da-vinci software but the plug-in is around $3000…

Hi Sascha,

I would like to stay as much as I can in one system, and not deal with more conform issues i.e clips not linking to the right footage.
It is a project with a lot of Red media and somewhat complex timeline with additional formats /speed changes / and some other frame-rates.

I thought that the trim option is great, and I tested it before in a test project on another system to great success.

With the New version coming out soon … I do think that this is the right way to go and try to do all what you can in one box.
However, I open to other suggestions and workflows. project was cut on Avid with DNxHD by the way.

I also using the Euphonix all the time with no issues.( or real delay)

try checking your cable or reinstall the Euphonix software

I have installed 9.1.1. Save times are lightning fast.
I can now have 2-3 episodes on the same project and all the still frames that I need.
