  • I used the serial number to try to find the make and model and It says:

    Intro: August 7, 2006* Disc: January 8, 2008

    Does this mean mine is out of date? (Please tell me the Disc is what counts :/ )

  • It’s an iMac with:

    16 GB of memory
    Mac Pro Start Up Disk
    2 x 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon Processor
    OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 software.

    I have more than enough space, I mean, I can seamlessly run Photoshop, After Effects, The internet and Final Cut Pro X at the same time with speed. I’m confused as to why I get this message.

    It’s a Sony MOVCAM 3032702, but I just found out that I need the 10.2.2 version of Final Cut Pro X, which is only available via the updated version of OS X…which for some reason is NOT available for this iMac..
