Nice comments, Steve. I’ve never used that line but I can see where it puts the onus on the client to clearly elaborate what they want and are willing to pay. Straight up, on the rocks, thank you…

I love the idea of writing better proposals. Most I have ever seen do little to position the proposal with the client’s interests at the heart of the pitch.

I have not heard of anyone doing this successfully but I notice you use a Mac and so you may wish to explore Disk Warrior, as it has been known to work many miracles in the past — though as I said, I have not heard of it being used in conjunction with P2 cards.
Write their tech support line and ask if it works on P2 cards. I am not sure if it does or doesn’t.
Someone else may have a real answer here but at pre-7am on a Sunday morning, this is where I’d start looking…

Yes, it is really cool to see the show make it so far up the food-chain in such a short span of time.

Oh, most of these $1 a shot sites look *anything but* like slick stock images. In fact, you have to sort through a lot of filler to find quality stuff if you want it. If you are looking for the more uncontrived look, there’s tons of that there on most of these sites.

Walter is right, your productions are not legal if you are grabbing images online and using them.
BigStockPhoto.com also has images for $1 or so.

The traffic on the site has been fairly steady and things have been pretty robust in the overall traffic patterns, etc.
If there are issues (and it does seem that a certain cross-section of members in the UK are having issues), it *may* be (and this is only a guess) that your teleco provider in the UK may be filtering the COW as a spam site. If this is happening, it may be due to the fact that we have so many members that when we send out newsletters, so many go out that they assume we must be a spam site or something. You may wish to contact them and ask that they “white list” the Creative COW servers as we are a legitimate service provider and not a spam engine.
Please ask them to whitelist 64.71.189.226, 64.71.189.228, 64.71.189.229.
