Yes, Apple is having issues. Unfortunately, we aren’t about to re-record all our podcasts to make it work for them and so they can fix it — or not.
You’d think that they’d test these things before they just sling updates out into the field.

Yes, indeed we are. This, as I have an upcoming job and will be taking the one with the best resume “side dish” and so far, that’s Chuck Reti with his broccoli and cheese casserole with the cornflake topping.
A true craftsman is never without a great side dish.

Kathlyn and I had headed out to the car with a rented HVX200 we had secured for the engagement but then I tripped and spilled the onion dip we were bringing all over it and just now I put it in the dish washer to clean it up. Thankfully, we have the Jet-Dri so that it won’t leave spots on the lens.
I hate when that happens.
I hope we can make the shoot time. After all, we love to take part in meaningful shoots like this.

You needn’t get out of the business because of stuff like this.
The one(s) answering this will likely be the ones leaving the business soon enough, so no need to fret.
Also, I can’t say that I know anyone who makes their living from reading and getting their jobs from Craig’s List or other job boards — even the COW’s. Sure, you can get the odd job here and there using lists but the real business is done the old fashioned way, where there is no substitute for hard work, perseverance, building connections and knowing your market, etc., etc.
But hey, pizza and chicken and I get to pay my own gas, too??? Now that sounds, well, er, um, that sounds worth the flight to Atlanta. “Kathlyn, pack up the camera, sweetie. I’ll get everything else ready. We’re doing a meaningful rap video! Wahoo!”

We had a couple of hiccups changing over from QT to Flash recently, but we have not heard from anyone in months that the podcasts were causing them problems.
We have never heard from anyone before that the podcasts caused their browser to hang and their system to crash. I suspect something in your configuration.
The movies are quite standard and we aren’t putting website links or any other kinds of add-ons into them.

You are joking, aren’t you? Please don’t tell me that people are unable to click a button to get what they want???
To be honest, it is actua;lly faster in many occasions to click the upper forums link that it would have been to scroll the page down and find the forum in the list of on-going tiny text. For the few occasions that are not faster, we’ll opt for the majority and the new look.
The forum list is gone and it won’t be coming back. There are two ways to get at the forums and if that’s not good enough, then I don’t know what else to say except that if that’s a “barrier,” then you are entitled to your opinion but it doesn’t mean that we are going to change it.

When Jerzy signed up to be part of the COW, one of the questions on his 14 page volunteer agreement and police background check report, was “Do you have a life?” He answered, “No.”
In support of this, he sent us a rather frightening picture of himself in a sort-of 60’s bad science fiction movie kinda thing that had him hooked up to hoses, wires and all these flashing lights and bellows and things. On his head was what looked like a metal mixing bowl with wires and coils that made me think of the old Fritz Lang Metropolis sci-fi silent film classic. He said that that bowl was the secret of the level of quality of his tutorials as it put him in direct contact with his cranial powers — which do indeed appear formidable, given the content that ensues.
People make sacrifices for their art and also for the community, Jerzy has made the supreme sacrifice, much to the moos of a grateful bovine nation.
