I think it likely has more to do with security that keeps you from accessing stuff than it does with security that protects you from evil-doers and Dastardly Dans. The invasive DRM features of Apple’s stuff has cost me downloads that I legally bought from the iTunes Store that they blew out on my system. Invasive DRM is the operative term.

As Tim pointed out, it is not the word that is offensive — although I’d argue that the focus of this site is hardly one where the subject is likely to come up. What would be offensive is the onslaught of the spam bots that would bury this site in posts for the latest low-priced pharmacy featuring the blue, purple or other latest wonder pill.
No thanks, we’ll spare ourselves and the audience the mountain of posts like we have seen in those forums that do not actively moderate certain words and terms.

We do it as there are so many impatient posters here that click the button over-and-over immediately and we spend far too much time removing double, triple, quad and even more repeated posts of the same thing due to this impatience.

My thoughts are also with the family of Don LaFontaine, as I know that they will sorely miss him. I loved his voice and thought that he was the finest voice in commercials. I still remember the first time I saw the Geico commercial that had him in it, the second I heard that voice I erupted in laughter. That was a case of being so over the top that it could not have been done any more perfectly. They should have killed that series of commercials right there. Nothing else they have done since has been even close. Like Bob Newhart, they should have known when to quit and gone out on top.

Yes, indeed it is. One of my sons, Ronnie, died yesterday in a car accident. His son, Caleb, also died in the accident with him. But I was very proud of the man he had become and he was a great Dad to his children.
Life is short, even for those of us who get the longer rides. Love those you are with and let them know their place in your life.
The day before he died, he had preached in our church in the morning and I was so proud of him. He knew it and when it was over, he walked up behind me and rubbed my shoulders for a bit and leaned in and told me, “I love you, Dad.” I told him that I was proud of him. They were to be my last words to him.
Don’t sweat the small stuff but don’t put off the important stuff.

If that is ridiculous and you want to sell it for that kind of money, don’t be a cheap-skate — replicate the discs and sell them on your own site.
It’s less than $2,000 for 1,000 discs from Discmakers.com and others.

There are multiple ways that you can contact any one of us directly without being logged in. Up in the upper right-hand corner of the interface is a Contact Us link.
I have moved your info from the new account to your old account and have deleted the profile info that you did not have in the new account (that was in the old account). This, in case you didn’t want the profile info anymore. So, the new Stephen Mann log-in is now really accessing the old Steve Mann account — though it is now updated to Stephen. I have also updated the email address accordingly to the new one you want to use.
