It’s the variable “CredValue” that gets the error when I change the name of the referenced Expressions Control (effect).

It’s hard to tell if the issue you have is due to overlapping or intersection. You’ll need to elaborate.

BTW, to solve your perspective issue, do the following –
1) make your Shape Layer 3D
2) apply effect>obsolete>basic 3D
3) animate the tilt prop

If the original are strung as an image sequence and the format is supported then that’s the easiest way. Here’s a list of supported formats for mocha BUT do take note that these are for V3.1 –
https://www.imagineersystems.com/support/Documentation/supported-file-formats. You can check your version of mocha’s (which I assume to be v2.0.2) doc files to be more specific but I doubt that has been much to change in terms of support for image sequences between then and V3.1.

It looks like mocha has interpreted the clip in linear colorspace. Try switching to 8-bit. If that doesn’t help, try converting to an image sequence – check the doc to see which format is supported.

Sam, if you’re going to use mocha, then use markers with distinctive four-corner edges. This comes in really handy should you need to jump into mocha’s Adjust Track module.

Hi Gardner, here’s another tip (I’m not sure if it was mentioned in the earlier thread) that’s quite useful.

Using your example – frames 11-20 exhibit tracking drift. Place anchor KFs at 10 and 21 (you know this already). Then correct for drifts at frames 11 and 20. Then follow through with identifying a frame with maximum drifting and correcting that frame. Repeat the identification for max drifts between a new corrected frame and either its previous or next corrected KF.
