Apply Text Animator Properties for Front Color, Side Color, Bevel Color and Back Color. Set all of them to black. Then animate y-rotation as you have done. Don’t add the opacity Animator Prop.

Nest this into your final comp and set its Blending Mode to Screen or Multiply. You can even add Pixel Motion Blur or ReVIsionFX’s RealSmart Motion Blur into the mix.

When the input value is -700.00, I get the following result $-,700.00. I was hoping to get -$700.00.

For 4-digit numbers, if the input is -1500, I get the following result $-1,500.00. For a 5-digit number such as -70,000, I get $-70,000.00.

Coincidentally, I’ve just sent in a Feature Request to view only active layers in a Timeline. An active layer is defined as being currently visible in the Comp Panel – this of course depends on where the Timeline Indicator is placed.

Viewing a single active layer lacks context since its relevance only becomes properly defined when viewed with other active layers. In your case, solo-ing is one option. Dave’s given you another. You may also want to look at CTRL+SHIFT+V and/or CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+V to toggle selected layers’ visibility on/off.

Check that the ellipse doesn’t have any prior keyframes and that you’ve set it’s body type to dynamic – which is what I think you’d want it to be.

You are very likely confusing mocha’s Tracking Spline(s) and its Planar Surface. They are entirely different thingies that share one common, albeit huge, attribute in that the Planar Surface works/acts as a child of the tracking results that are obtained as a result of tracking.

Once you have completed a tracking task, you can set the Planar Surface’s four corner points independent of the Tracking Spline as long as the Planar Surface is co-planar with the tracking splines – this is true for all 2D/2.5D planar tracking in mocha.

In your specific case, set the Planar Surface’s corner points to your desired after tracking and then export the tracking results to AE.

Can’t you set each mask (and their accompanying Nulls or Lights) to be in separate Plexus Groups?
