You might also look at this software at http://www.p2genie.com. You may download and try before you buy. Currently in use on G4 Laptop with OS X 10.4, but may be applicable in your case.

It was my understanding that reading P2 cards was a part of the design specifications. Panasonic P2 is listed in the specs portion of their web site, although I can’t confirm that it will work. I guess I’d “buy, try, and return if it doesn’t work.”

It specifically mentions P2 cards. Other adaptors in the marketplace that use compact flash cards and other types of media have been directed toward the still photographer market.
