    nano is also 8 bit,but you,ll be able to bump up the Mbps thats for sure.. nano is a good bit of gear and very small and light.. I can see them being used alot on this Camera and the pana version..

    Even a single card reader.. at those speeds.. if the numbers are even close to the truth.. a major move forwards for P2,I would think.. and the cards going down in price.. and the 3100.. its like christmas..

    Yeah Im thinking of this camera to replace my HDX900.. but last job they insisted on F900R..!!! and cards getting cheaper is good news too!

    Ok.. but if one USB is from mains.. to the card reader.. the other is from the reader to the computer.. can not the other USB for the external HDD… ie Mac book pro with only 2 USB,s ?

    yeah so what Im saying is.. the power source USB.. instead of coming from the computer.. it comes from the mains.. the other USB is for data..??

    If you are near to AC supply.. can you power that reader direct from a socket with a USB – mains adaptor ?
    There by freeing up one of your laptop USB,s..??
