Thanks for the input. Managed to get the .cube file into the HDLink no problems.

Dan, thanks for the AlexaLogC to Rec709 thingy. That will come in handy.

The DP I’m working with is looking for an on-set grading solution and we’ve been going back and forth between using Iridas SpeedGrade OnSet and Resolve. We wanna just have a general LUT for our look on set so that we can adjust lighting accordingly.

Question: since the HDLink has 3D LUT sliders, does it take in 3D LUTs? If so, what file type would it be?

I’ve installed the beta drivers and still have playback problems in Premiere. The timeline stops right at a cut when using DSLR footage using Blackmagic 1080p DSLR setting. Premiere doesn’t have a problem when using the standard DSLR setting.

I’m on a Mac Pro 8-core 2.4ghz
20gb ram

Looks like I’ll have to get a Quadro 4000 🙂 thanks guys.

BTW, for those of you who own a Quadro 4000, does it also accelerate encoding to H.264?

Thanks for replying promptly. Since BMD is adding the Mini Converter Utility for the Mini Converter, I’m assuming that you will add this feature to the Broadcast converter as well?

thanks for the info. managed to get realtime playback on my client monitor now. apparently needed to upgrade drivers to latest. now editing 720p25 with realtime client preview. sweet.
