OK…great! So Steve does the pairing of slots go like this: Slot 1 & 2, 3 & 4, 5 & 6 and 7 & 8? My system report on MacPro is telling me that slots 3 & 4 and slots 7 & 8 are not being used. Is it odd that it came shipped from the factory with Slots 1 & 2 and 5 & 6 used with dedicated modules instead of 1 & 2 and 3 & 4? I guess it doesn’t matter eh? so long as it’s in pairing as you mentioned with same sizes per pairing.

  • I’m wondering the same thing. Is it something to do with using different frame rates on timeline? Does anyone have an answer for this gentleman and I? Much appreciated.

Hey – thanks for the heads up Mike. I was looking into Vimeo and concluded that I couldn’t make use of it as I’m now legitimately in the videography business. I thought vimeo was for non-commercial use only. Am I wrong about this because this would make it much easier for me.

    Thanks,

Hi Tor – I’ve had to resort to color correction in FCP. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to resolve the matching of cameras very well. Nice work on the tribute – looks not bad of a match with the cameras. I’m going to try and find a better solution but looks like will have to customize settings big time in the xha1 (as hv so limited).

Did you hook up a wireless mic to the soundboard or maybe an xlr cable?
Nice sound. I’ve just started doing weddings and curious what method I’d need to hook up to soundboard from DJ.

Thanks for your response and maybe we can keep each other posted if find some ultimate solution.

Thanks for your input Grinner. Just shot a wedding and love story on weekend and found that at this stage for me, its much better to capture all. Because the love story is essentially a documentary – this was a no brainer to capture full footage. The wedding – although tons of footage – became much more manageable and organized once capturing the full meal deal (didn’t have to go back and re-look at tape footage).

    Anyway thanks…

Silly question but did you get to keep the download after they refunded you?
